Restoring Truth and Transparency to Online Shopping
PonnoRadar is Bangladesh's first independent price tracking engine, discount verification algorithm, and cross-store shopping intelligence platform.
The Bangladesh E-Commerce Dilemma
Online retail in Bangladesh has grown at a blistering pace. Consumers now regularly purchase electronics, PC hardware, phones, and home appliances from retailers like Star Tech, Ryans, TechLand, Apple Gadgets, Gadget & Gear, and Pickaboo.
However, consumers consistently face three painful realities:
- Artificial Flash Sales: Retailers frequently hike sticker prices weeks ahead of campaigns like 11.11 or Eid Mega Sales, only to discount them back to regular price with flash badges.
- Deceptive Sticker Prices: A store advertising ৳24,500 often ends up costing more than one advertising ৳24,900 once inter-district shipping and Cash on Delivery charges are factored in.
- Fragmented Information: No single platform offered historic price memory or consolidated stock availability across Bangladeshi stores.
Our Mission: Zero Compromise Intelligence
PonnoRadar was founded with a singular conviction: shoppers deserve full transparency before spending their hard-earned money.
We do not sell products, operate a marketplace, or take sides. We operate an automated data pipeline that continuously tracks prices, cross-references models by canonical SKU, and computes mathematical discount honesty.
Whether a gadget dropped by ৳500 or is suffering from an artificial markup, PonnoRadar gives you the cold, hard data so you can buy at the perfect time.
Our Four Core Operating Principles
Every feature, algorithm, and chart on PonnoRadar is guided by four foundational rules.
Verifiable Historical Evidence
We never claim an "All-Time Low" or "15% Discount" without immutable timestamped price records. We display the total number of observations, highest ever recorded price, lowest ever price, and 30/90-day moving averages so you can verify the math yourself.
Total Out-of-Pocket Cost Reality
Comparing raw sticker prices alone is misleading. PonnoRadar computes the true total payable cost factoring in known shipping rates (Dhaka inside ৳60 vs outside Dhaka ৳120–৳150), Cash on Delivery charges (0.5%–1%), and verified payment discounts (bKash/Nagad/card instant cashbacks).
Strict Editorial & Commercial Independence
Store affiliate programs and commercial relationships have zero influence over product rankings, price histories, or our 1.0 to 10.0 Discount Score. If an unaffiliated store has the lowest price, it is displayed as the #1 deal without hesitation.
Zero Surveillance & Privacy by Design
We do not track you across the internet, harvest your browsing history, or sell personal data to advertisers. You can use PonnoRadar completely anonymously. If you create an account to save alerts, your data is exportable and deletable with 1 click.
